Writer's Block: Really, Truly

While the optimist in me wants to scream out, "of course!" the realist in me has to stop and consider the truth of the situation.
I believe in true love, yes. I just think that with the way people are nowadays- selfish, self-centered, arrogant, lusty, immature, self-serving, etc.- prevents it from occurring much anymore.
With so many people being from the Generation Me mentality, there's no want nor willpower to stick things out. Thus you get those who cheat on their spouses/significant others and when found out, they do the whole, "oh but it really wasn't my fault. I couldn't help it," deal.
This, of course, is bullshit. Because One's Dick doesn't simply just fall into another person's Vagina. Or etc., for those out there in homosexual relationships.
Bluntly put? Yes, I believe True Love exists. I just don't think it means anything to most people nowadays, nor that they could actually recognize it through the idiocy and haze of selfishness and lust that they live with.
Love at first sight?
I believe in Lust at First Site. I also believe in two souls being able to recognize connections from past lives, etc., or the realization that someone is special without exactly Knowing Why. I don't, however, equate that last one to Love...
