Hello Dreamwidth!

This is the first posting of the oddball formerly known as shadows_wolf06 over on LiveJournal. I will, for the time being, be keeping my LJ account simply because it is paid up until November anyway, so I'd like wring the last of my paid account time over there as best I can. Plus, I've been on LiveJournal so long that I will, in some ways, miss it. Though my current journal really hasn't been around that long, my elvenmystic2003 incarnation was up and running back in 2003, so I've been a blogger for a while.
I'm hoping that this site will become what LiveJournal was back before the idiots over at Six Apart took over; back when Brad was still in charge and what was best for the consumers was what drove the company. For a long time LiveJournal has been driven on money and marketing and I'm honestly kinda sick of it all.
From what little I've seen of Dreamwidth, I like it. I'm hoping that when all is said and done, it will be a homage of the good that once was LiveJournal.
Regardless, I will be maintaining both journals and keeping them up and running, so I will continue to be around.
